.38 Special & .357 Magnum Reloading Dies – LEE

Carbide Sizing Die: Resizes the fired brass casing back to original factory dimensions and pushes out the spent primer. Powder Through Expanding Die: Flares the mouth of the case slightly to allow a bullet to sit easily on top while doubling as a pathway to drop powder. Bullet Seat & Crimp Die: Standard die that pushes the new bullet to its correct depth and crimps the mouth to lock it into position. Because the .38 Special and .357 Magnum share identical diameters, this same physical set handles both calibres. When moving from .38 Special to the longer .357 Magnum casing, you simply back the expanding and seating dies out about two full turns to compensate for the extra length.
