This Lodge is situated in the North West Province. This privately owned Game Reserve and is home to the indigenous Umbrella Tree with over 30 species of free roaming African game, including some of the finest trophy Kudu, Nyala, Eland and Waterbuck to be found in Southern Africa. Here you are assured of a safe and exclusive hunt in the Malaria free bush veld.
Nestling in the shadows of the Waterberg Mountains, near Thabizimbi, Humdani is located in a Malaria free area of North West Province ‘Big 5’. It takes only 2 hours to reach Humdani from Johannesburg and just over an hour from Pretoria, traveling via the national R 511 road. Humdani has earned a proud reputation as an exclusive but affordable luxury lodging establishment offering 7 tastefully appointed, air-conditioned / heated en-suite, African themed chalets. The rooms have private pergola covered patios and guests have a choice of either shower & bath, or shower only. Most rooms also feature a screened outdoor ‘bush shower’ for that exhilarating ‘Out of Africa’ experience!
The central complex has a romantically appointed dining area; an intimate lounge with feature fireplace; a cocktail bar with viewing deck overlooking the African Bush; a cozy open-air bush boma; an all day tea & coffee refreshment station for the convenience of our guests; a DStv loft lounge and library; a swimming pool with large sundeck, and indoor / outdoor conference facilities catering for up to 16 corporate delegates.
The ‘upper deck’ offers stunning views across the plains and the quiet solitude of this private location makes it the perfect place to witness sensational sunsets, whilst savoring the moment with a sun-downer cocktail.
The Lodge is a great favorite among our clients. It is family friendly, complete with air-conditioned rooms, bar-lounge area, game room, swimming pool. Our aim is to take the best possible care of you, from first-class cuisine served with some of the best South African wines to pleasant companionship around the campfire.
We have a selection of well equipped and well maintained game viewing vehicles to ensure that your safari runs smoothly. We also offer our clients a charter facility (at client’s cost) should you need to fly somewhere, the client makes that decision.
